Why we built Nomad Tracking Card
Most trackers hang from a keychain or sit inside a bag, round and thick and one more thing to attach. The item people lose most often is the one designed to slide into a slim card slot: the wallet. So we started there. Nomad Tracking Card is built to the footprint of a standard credit card, so it lives where your other cards already live, without asking you to change a habit.
The same shape fits a passport holder, a luggage pocket, or a teen's backpack. One product, one size, and it goes wherever a card goes.
What the card actually does
Pair it once with the Find My app already on your iPhone, and the card shows its last known location on a map, plays a sound when you're close, and can nudge you with a separation alert when you walk away without it. Setup takes under a minute, there is no separate app, no account, and no subscription.
It is worth being precise about the limits, because they decide whether this is the right tool for you:
- It is not continuous live GPS. The map shows the last known location, which updates only when the card passes near an Apple device.
- It works with iPhone (iOS 14.5 or later). It does not work with Android.
- It is a find-it-if-it's-misplaced tool, not a real-time tracker or a two-way communicator.
- Battery life is measured in weeks of everyday use, and the card ships with a charging cable.
If your use case is "I keep losing my wallet or my bag," the card covers it well. If you need live movement or two-way audio, a card tracker is not that product.
Built for real life
Wallets get rained on. Luggage gets tossed. Backpacks live on the floor of the car. That is why every card is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, and why the battery is rechargeable rather than throwaway. The one thing we refused to build is a card you have to think about maintaining.
A detail from real use: put the card behind your everyday cards, in a slot you do not raid daily. It stays put for weeks instead of sliding out with the card you grab ten times a day. That placement habit is the difference between a tracker that works and one that quietly ends up at the bottom of a bag.
How we're honest about our own product
We launched recently, so we do not yet have a backlog of customer reviews, and we will not invent any. As orders go out, real reviews will be published where you can see them, and corrections to anything on this site will be logged rather than silently edited.
Our promise
Every order ships free and is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If Nomad Tracking Card is not right for you, we will make it right.
